“Hammy” passed away peacefully at the Homestead Hospital in Homestead Florida after battling a brain tumor. He was 78 years old but lived a full and successful life. This included raising, with his wife Merle, five successful children who in turn raised ten children of their own. Just before passing he also had a great granddaughter. One of his last wishes was to see Tony’s son Alex play on our driveway in Crescent Gardens as it brought back fond memories of his children playing there. He also wanted to have a Muslim Prayer Service. He got both these wishes as can be seen in the above photographs.
